Autumn Princess- Mishika

Hello...Dearies..

Its festival season over here .....everyone celebrating Diwali - Festival of Lamps. Everywhere so colorful with lamps and brightness......showers of happiness everywhere. I wish you all guys a very

HAPPY DIWALI

Today I'm sharing  new work which I have scrapped for my dear friend's new born baby MISHIKA .....she's a cute little darling...and this is one way that I could show my love to my dear friend and her cutie pie. I choose this happy moment pic as my focal image and choose to play for Lindy's challenge.

I have worked on canvas with Prima Heavy white gesso, run through the stencil with TheCraftTreat new release -Wood grain stencil, for sprays I have used Hag's Wart Orange, Franken Lime and Blazing Black, toned them with spray misty for dark and light shades and I love the shimmer Hag's Wart Orange has on my canvas......hopefully my camera has captured it.  I have used more fussy cut flowers from Sherry Baldy's - My Besties Collection with Besties images, layered with DCWV - Autumn collection paper pack, Fabrika Decoru's chippies and autumn collection die cuts, autumn leaves stamps -stamped with Archival Orange blossom ink, few golden beads and pearls, Golden EP, finishing with some black acrylic splatter.

Femina - Delicate Laces

Hi Dearies......

I'm back with another LO to share with you all today. This I  have created for More Than Words Blog Challenge

I loved the challenge this month and its DELICATE......hmmm for me delicate is LACE totally feminine and I love lace. We women love everything trendy and light..... a good workmanship and elegance. Its totally feminine and who doesn't love the sensitive and sensitivity in a women's dress with Lace. So here's my take on the challenge and hope you guys like it.

I have used a lace printed paper for my background from Papericious Wedding collection, Wendy vicchi Embossing paste run through Prima Stencil work, topped with some Ranger Gold EP, background work for shimmer I have used Fabrika Decoru's Magic paint water soluble and I simple love the gold shimmer it set. Stamped with Archival ink-Orange blossom with Prima Texture stamp, layered with few diecuts, chippies (Fabrika Decoru) - heat set with Ranger Gold EP, Metal charms, sentiment.......LACE and to add a bit more elegance and softness I handmade my foamirian flowers with a creamy flower center, few gold painted flower buds, gold magic paint for splashes to add a bit brightness to the LO........viola.....this is it!!

METAL MAIDEN

Hello Dearies.......

Hope the new month has started good for you all and hope to see lots of stuff and share at many blogs that we have been sharing work often.  I have started my work too and lots more in the coming weeks to share with you folks.

Today....I share this piece of art in which I have incorporated metal stuff to create this for two major blog challenges where creativity speaks to itself and amazing show of creations shared by our gals.......there's lot more learning and enjoying the work....so I share this with Mixed Media Art Creative Artist  and for More than Words-Oct challenge

For this LO I used metal foil duct tape adhered to a thick card stock and embossed it with my various embossing folders I had in my stash with different designs on it and added a few alcohol inks and made it look colorful, adhered a bead lace which totally looked as metal and a white fabric lace which I covered with gesso, I used a bit of stencil work and for decorating the lace of the gown.......interesting part...I didn't  have any metal scraps in my stash....and literally wondered what best I could do....now I had few jewelry metal coverings, push buttons, wire, needles cut in pieces and adhered it on the back of the gal for that extra interest, beads........ooollaaa....yes I started working on this LO with these metal stuff and incorporated them on this project.....I hand made the butterfly wings with jewelry wire and added a jewelry stone on to the center of the wings on each side .....for richness.....highlighted with Prima Turquoise, Blue Velvet, Inka Gold and alcohol ink gold splashes for extra shine and richness for the LO. Hope you guys like this extra rich metal embellished gown 😊
